Method

We believe that each youth has God-given gifts and passions that will be used in the unique calling of their lives. We help students find those passion points and instill hope as they learn how to live out their purpose as Christ-like students and employees.

Joining the Academy

Each semester, we open applications for the Academy and interview potential participants. Up to 15 students are then accepted into a new Academy cohort. We spend the first ten weeks together creating culture, developing job readiness skills, and dreaming about the future. Cohorts then blend together to experience our ongoing programming.

Program Components

  • Sparks: We help youth discover what they are passionate about.

  • Leadership Development: We develop the next generation of leaders through group exercises, guest speakers, and unique opportunities.

  • Mentoring: We connect teenagers with long-term mentors who support their social-emotional and spiritual development

  • Academic Enrichment: We encourage academic success through tutoring and post-secondary planning. We consistently ask the question “What’s next?” to challenge teens to imagine their future and develop a plan to get there.

  • Employment: We provide hands-on employment opportunities where teens can gain experience and earn a paycheck or educational award.
